Your support allows us to focus on our mission to promote community support and opportunities for people with disabilities. All donations help us work towards our mission. You may not know, the state of California sets the rates for all the necessary services we provide. Unfortunately, that means our rates do not get adjusted annually for inflation or increases in the cost of living. In fact, we often experience years of stagnant rates. Although the state of California has committed to a 3-year rate adjustment plan for key services, those adjustments have been late in implementation and based on data collected 6 years ago. Of course, they are not adequate to reflect our current financial conditions.
